Completely agree. One of my favorites. I greet my closest friends with "what's the rumpus?"suspicious android wrote:Ha, I've been saying that for years and no one has ever called it out. Favorite quote in an incredibly quotable movie, criminally underrated.m3taphysician wrote: Miller's Crossing?

are you all ED or RD.... In speaking with a person from CLS a few days ago, they said RD would not be hearing back until at least late january

yeah... I can imagine. I just got an ED grade request, which i imagine puts me on the bottom of the pile compared to you guys. They told me i would probably hear by the end of january

Saw your stats in another post and honestly I really wouldn't worry if I were you because you seem to be in auto-admit territory. I think fall grade requests in general eventually lead to acceptances anyway. I'm pretty sure it's just a formal request since you're still in school and they just want to make sure your grades stay consistent.unknownnumbers wrote:yeah... I can imagine. Ugh, that's what I'm worried about. There's no formal requirement for them to tell us whether we're in by January. Looks like their strategy for the application drop has been to drag this out as long as possible.

Well, I think it's somewhat comforting that we're most likely sitting in the "maybe" pile. The people on this thread still waiting seem to have pretty solid stats.Nobody wrote:Ugh, that's what I'm worried about. There's no formal requirement for them to tell us whether we're in by January. Just submitted my unofficial RD fall grades request, does anyone know if we should send the official transcript directly to them or LSAC?

Anyone know why some people get asked for grades and some don’t? I never got a fall grade request. Just wondering if anyone had noticed a pattern.

My theory is that they ask only those who are below their GPA median but could possibly be at or above their GPA median after a good term.

Makes sense. Thanks. I was a little worried they weren’t considering me or something. I guess we’re all waiting until January to see, though.

Yeah, I've kind of passed the point of total dread about not hearing anything, and have moved to a place where I get more hopeful after every day that goes by without a denial. I still wish I could just know one way or the other, if only to move on.username08 wrote:Well, I think it's somewhat comforting that we're most likely sitting in the "maybe" pile. Yeah, maybe they're aiming for higher medians this year. Either way, I'm just speculating.

There have been a few posts itt saying that last year people got fall grades requests with gpa's that were all over the map and it really seemed random who they asked.

Alright, thanks people. Not really a cause for concern, I suppose.
