Also holding my breath for a KB2! I interviewed 11/30 (they were super-nice about a scheduling issue I had and the interview lasted 4-min at most). Also, I`m in east Asia - maybe she wouldn`t actually phone since the workday in Cambridge = middle of the night over here (?) In any case, it took them a couple of days to get all the KB2s out for the first round.... bah, worrying accomplishes nothing!

Congrats to all those who got in!!!!

Congrats to all KB2ers! Quick question about how you felt KB1's went:

Had my KB 1 today, no disasters or anything, but did not feel like I really said anything to help my case or stand out at all. Actually maybe hurt myself a bit, being a little nervous might have shown through on the phone. Anybody know how much stock they put in the interview? Could a decision hinge on it even if it was just sort of average, nothing too good or bad? Did others feel theirs went particularly well or badly? Mine was only 6 minutes, so I kind of assume they cannot put that much weight on something so short.

They'll probably send you an email - they've done that for two people living overseas on this forum already.

That said, every other prediction I've made on this forum has been mistaken, so you probably shouldn't believe me.

Yeah! If people with KB2s can say how they felt their KB1 went that would be really helpful!

This actually makes me feel kind of good since I'm in Asia too and also had an interview of similar length! I have no idea why that would be a good sign, but...some commonality? right? So...good luck to both of us! I'm hoping they just didn't get to everyone today, although it looks like the calls stopped well before COB. sigh.

Alternatively, they just hate us for being overseas and making their lives difficult =(

I felt my KB1 went well, but I'm not sure she learned anything about me that wouldn't've been obvious from my personal statement, besides the specific types of jobs I'm most interested in. I truly have no idea what they're looking for at that stage in the game, though. I don't think being nervous should be a problem by itself - I'm sure nobody sounds flawlessly calm and collected in a four-minute phone conversation with the admissions office of one of the world's top law schools.

Wait, I didn't get a KB2, but my status changed to Admissions Binder Sent on 12/5. Did any other non-KB2ers see that status change? WHAT DOES THIS MEAN????

btw to people who were asking about KB1s...my interview was mediocre (if I'm being generous. In fact it was probably straddling mediocre and shitty.)

Yeah already checked my status - still "under review". Guess I'll just have to sleep on it.

Congrats, ladybug!

I'm in London right now. Yesterday people were getting their KB2's and I was super bummed out. I checked my status (still under review). On a hunch, I checked the voicemail for my american cell phone. Lo and behold, KB2 on the cell phone.

So for those of you overseas - check the voicemail on whatever phone number you gave them. They KB1 called me on my cell phone in England, but forgot to do it for KB2.

Crazy what this application process (especially Harvard's KB1/KB2 system) can do to a person.

Mista Bojangles is actively deployed on the Gazan border, and is currently sitting in his barracks in between guard shifts, using a friend's iPhone to check the TLS forums. What is wrong with this picture, any guesses?

Still no KB1 here, by the way. Other Sept. KB1-less submitters, looks like we're in for the long haul. Personally, I won't be letting go of the dream until the day they drop me from the waitlist.

I'm telling you people abroad, you have to get Google Voice Lite! When someone leaves you a voicemail it sends you the transcribed message and a link to play the message over email. That's how I found out when I was in London, and it was awesome. Congrats to the new KB2s!

you not getting a kb1 absolutely boggles my mind. A true hero, and one with amazing numbers at that.

My KB1 was definitely mediocre (at best). I didn't say anything stupid, or come off as totally inarticulate, but I over-prepared and it was much more like I was talking at her than having a conversation. Then again, my main goal was not to completely screw up, and I accomplished that.

All the people who just had KB1's should relax. She actually called me 4 times before we talked lol. What happened is that she called me on my cellphone and me, fearing that my cellphone speakers weren't going to be clear enough, connected my ipod earphones to it.

Unfortunately, I forgot that my earphones don't have their own microphone/receiver so basically, I could hear her talk but she couldn't hear me...

so the first 3 times she called me she was like...hello....hello....helloooooo?...and then hung up. I finally unplugged on her fourth try managed to establish contact...lol...

and I got in so if I could get in, then all you guys are in.

Same. My status had been stuck at 11/4 (but didn't have my second LOR until 11/17), and just updated this morning to UR.

Haha, that's good news. But I guess my worry was more that they may have already decided even before the interview who they want to accept and who they want to WL. I seem to have heard that the interview isn't really much of an indicator, but it's more to confirm that you're normal if they've already decided on accepting you. If so, I would be so sad to get my hopes up only to be WL/reject.

I just really can't believe this is happening, so trying to keep my expectations low...

Same here. I felt like mine went well overall, but I felt like I came off a little rehearsed. But at least I made her laugh a little?

Just had my KB1.
Got asked the same questions as everyone else... I'd say mediocre at best.
Trying to keep my expectations low...

For people who've gotten KB2s (congrats!) -- what was the time gap between your KB1 and KB2?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
