I'm new to the thread, but I went complete on 1/12 and just got the call.

Wouldn't have happened if I hadn't discovered TLS and its t14 or nothing thinking.

congrats coward. I know exactly how you feel about TLS. I might not actually get in to NYU, but this site at least gave me a snowballs chance in hell, which is a lot better than I thought I had before I joined.

Sorry if this has been answered, I sort of stopped following this thread back in december. Has anyone who was held ED received a decision yet?

edit: Is held the right word? I mean the people whose applications were pushed from ED to RD.

I was ED and held and so were a few other people. As far as I know, they won't get to us until April.

congrats coward. I know exactly how you feel about TLS. I might not actually get in to NYU, but this site at least gave me a snowballs chance in hell, which is a lot better than I thought I had before I joined.

I was PT'ing in the mid-160s and was fine with where I was at before I found this place. It shamed me into buckling down and finding another ten points.

in case anyone is wondering, i submitted around halloween, went complete very soon after, UR 11/11 and froze there. received the email yesterday and status checker changed to "decision letter sent" ... just thankful i didn't have to wait til april to find out!

i'm in at a safety that i really like and i'm WL'd at Fordham... only waiting on rutgers right now which has totally been killing my (lack of) patience :p

You're probably better off at Fordham if you can get off the WL

If I've been UR since 12/14, as a reverse splitter (GPA >75, LSAT <75), would there be any reason to believe anything other than ding?

I don't think NYU has started using the WL yet. If you don't get accepted, I think that is where you (and I) are going
