I took LSAT three times: 167, 171, and 169, chronologically.

Which once again proves my theory that ~~Germans love David Hasselhoff~~ NYU doesn't truly average LSAT scores.

I applied early but haven't heard back yet; I haven't been called and my status hasn't been updated since the 29th. I am a TLS novice...What's ASW? Anywhere I could be looking that I'm not?

This is an unusual way of finding out, but I thought I should share. My mom is an NYU Law grad, and she got a phone call today from the alumni office to let her know that they "had just decided to admit her daughter to the Class of 2015," and that she could tell me if she wanted to, but that I was going to find out via mail in just a few days. The only purpose of the call was to let her know that I was accepted.

So, unless someone is punking my mom (or she is punking me--doubtful), I'm in!

The weird thing: my status still says under review 11/7. No update, no decision letter mailed status. I just called my mom back to confirm they REALLY said I was admitted, and she played me the voicemail saying that I was in.

RD, sent 10/25, complete 11/2, under review 11/7. Huge splitter with very strong softs.

Will save the happy dance until I get the purple envelope. This could be an elaborate prank designed to break my NYU-loving heart.

This is how the first person found out last year as well.

Great news for the rest of the RD crew, because it means decisions are coming shortly.

I would be hesitant to say anything with certainty because it seems the process is a little different this year. But in the past there have been multiple early December waves of both RD and ED.

Yes, just tried logging in. No dice. I'm hesitant to celebrate until it works for me.

Please keep us RDers informed. My app is still said to be processing from 11/15, but from waht I've read NYU can go from processing to UR so I won't call yet, but if decisions are on the way I may try some gentle nudging.

FWIW, I submitted RD on Nov 14, received the status checker Nov 15, and just went UR today.
