I just got in off the waitlist. I did not write a LOCI at any point in the application process. Hope that helps!

Lol the bitterness is thick in this thread... i'm sure there are a lot of people reading and not one congratulations to the people who got in off the waitlist.

with that being said... fuck you to the people that got in. you took my spot.

glitched is right...congrats msmongolian! And very reassuring to hear you didn't write a LOCI. I wrote one a couple months back and have been obsessively debating whether or not to write another one, but it seems like it doesn't make much of a difference.

it'd be nice to know. but i dont think we can really get anything from that info. they're probably "crafting a class" right now if we want to use admissions speak. so those who got in off the waitlist will be filling in a specific role

You're right... although it's not for any substantial reason that I would want to know this. It's more like the feeling where you just want to hear anything and everything related to your long lost love. lol.

I just got offered a spot on the waitlist today too...

I'm 3.87/174 (retake) so maybe they called me right after eaa1537 turned it down, haha. I'm excited but not totally sure I'm going to take it. I think maybe I'm too mentally committted to going to UT Austin at this point. But I really don't know....

I was accepted off the waitlist today, but turned the spot down because I'm happy with the school I'll be attending instead. Maybe a month ago I would have considered it more seriously.

I just wanted to let you all know that it sounds like a spot is available, and I hope it goes to one of you!
