Re: Status checker iPhone app
what if you have different log in information for different schools?
This an awesome app. Just a little difficult to get to. downloaded and now a faster way to check certain apps. Thanks. great idea for those nervously waiting like myself.

So maybe I'm really dumb, but how does this work? I entered my schools and login info but it's just sitting there saying "not checked!" for each of them and the update button doesnt seem to do anything.

So true. That is why I am sort of glad I didn't have this 5 months ago. It would have only added to the number of times I did status checks.lhlee wrote:Enabler!

I foresee future generations of students waking up and checking their statices with their phones. After seeing "application complete" with no movement, they will scurry over to their computers and hope the app was wrong. This will be repeated daily, with double disappointment each time .cardinals1989 wrote:So true. That is why I am sort of glad I didn't have this 5 months ago. You're not dumb. Sounds like a bug that I (and apples app store review team) missed. Quitting the app and opening it again should fix it, and I'm not entirely sure what the problem is as I haven't been able to reproduce it.Zabini wrote:So maybe I'm really dumb, but how does this work? And lhlee; it isn't possible for it to update the time stamp on the last check date without checking your status, so no need for the double neuroticism.

1. Is there a way to have different username/passwords for each school you select? Some of my usernames are just 1 or 2 alphanumeric characters off.
2. Does the App not remember your information? Do we have to enter account info and check schools each time?
3. I also have the same "Not Checked!" problem as Zabini.

Also, since Stanford does not put the decision letter sent status in the normal boxes (they all clear out), will this app be able to read it? Someone who has already gotten DLS at Stanford may be able to answer this.

The "submitted to committee review on __/___" It goes blank, I think.cardinals1989 wrote:Also, since Stanford does not put the decision letter sent status in the normal boxes (they all clear out), will this app be able to read it? I didn't think 1 was necessary so I left it out for simplicity. I'll include it in the update (should be out next week)neonx wrote:Some questions/suggestions:helloperson wrote:You're not dumb. 2. If it isn't storing your info it's a bug. It's supposed to store your info. This is probably related to problem 3.
3. What version of iPhone software are you using and what phone do you have?

I see. I know what the problem is for 2. Problem 3 is still a mystery. If I can enlist your help I'd like to send you the updated version before I send it live.neonx wrote:
