Application complete Jan 5 no word, should I be calling them to see what the situation is / showing continued interest? King of just want to see what happens so I know all my options, any advice on this would be really helpful, thanks!

...I've been complete since 12/29/10. Numbers are below median so at least I haven't been rejected yet.

I'm a little annoyed but not upset about it. Really what I want is some advice on how to maximize chances/ possibly speed up the process.

Really don't want to hear from Vandy after my other seat deposits making me second guess myself not at all excited about that prospect.

i posted this in the vandy 2011 thread, but i'll repeat here in case you guys aren't on that thread.

called admissions today (i was complete 1/26). she said expect 8-12 weeks before a decision. all decisions are made by mid-May typically, but mid-cycle completions SHOULD hear back within the next couple of weeks.

i assume they make decisions on every applicant. so, short version: May 15ish at the latest, but probably by sometime in April.
