ranked waitlist

Post by ryleez » Thu Mar 17, 2011 7:48 pm

I am ranked number four on a wait list at the University of Mississippi. What are my chances of being pulled off the list with only four people ahead of me. I know that it is a low tier school, and that a lot of people probably used it as a safety. Any feedback is much appreciated.

Sorry dont know anything about this law school but I would think your chances at most schools would be excellent. You should call them and ask how many they took off the WL last year.

As soon as the deposit dealine comes you should be in.

Plus wouldn't only three people be in front of you?

I called admissions because my admission decision letter had been lost in the mail. The lady informed me that they had a list and my ranking on it. Try calling admissions and asking about the wait list. My numbers were a 155 LSAT and 3.9 GPA in a double major.

Agreed. And technically, yes, only three people are in front of him, but there would have to be four spots opened up for him to be secured a spot (assuming all three people in front of him wanted to matriculate too).
