I apologize to all for using the strong language here, but I must share with you guys what they did to my application so that I could get it off my chest.

I got the rejection letter from them this morning, and guess what mistake they made? They wrote the wrong First Name on the letter. They wrote Raina, which makes this even more pathetic because I'm not even female. I mean...come on, how could they possibly claim that they conduct detailed reviews of their applicants, while they can't even get their fucking names right! I'm not pissed off by the fact that they rejected me because I'll be going to BC, but the fact that I put in the work and money to apply, in the end they send me a letter with the wrong fucking name on it is totally unacceptable!

Is it possible that the rejection itself is a case of mistaken identity, a la Orange County? If you have solid plans to attend elsewhere, you'd have nothing to lose by giving them a call and civilly inquiring as to what the deal is.

I should have posted this in the Ding Bar, my bad on that. However I don't think it's a mail-merge error, they got my last name right in the letter, and both the first name and last name on the envelop itself was right. It really reflects poorly on them to address the person wrong on their rejection letter.
