Please post updates here if you were an application that was held from ED and you hear any news. People, like myself, who were held ask every few pages if there have been any updates for those who were held.

LOVE this thread. It's going to be a huge help if people keep up with it.

I was complete 10/28 and held 11/9, but haven't heard anything.

I applied 10/31. Got held a couple weeks later, and then was admitted last Wednesday.

Any updates, including denials? Someone I know IRL was held and then rejected in january. I'm just kinda waiting my turn...

I wish I knew how they decide which held files to review again.

just saw someone on LSN with a 166/3.6 accepted yesterday on 2/14 with a submit date on 10/25. i'm assuming they were held back from EA from that date. maybe they're working their way up?

Do you mean up as in november to september complete dates or september to november? I submitted on 10/20, complete 10/28 and my friend who submitted after me was rejected in january. I think it might be by numbers, like accept/reject the held people on top and bottom, then that leaves me in the middle in limbo. What was your complete date?

Status checker changed to wait listed today after being held since november. Pretty excited about this wait list, though it'll be a long ride!

hm you might be right with the decisions that they are just going by numbers. i submitted 11/1. atleast you know where you stand now.

I applied 11/1, got the hold email 11/19, and have been sitting at complete ever since.

I know a now professor there who agreed to write a gripping LOR, post-hold. It takes me over their 3 letter limit, not sure if that will bite me in the butt /:
