I had almost exactly those same numbers and was WL at UVA and Mich. Let's face it. Top schools are really picky.

Last year no one made it off the waitlist. If you really want Duke (or anyone else who waitlisted you for that matter) you need to do everything you can that doesn't make you look like a stalker. Visit, send additional materials, try to get an interview, etc.
