How do you compare the law school at BU to Boston College? What have others in Boston told you about the difference between the two schools? I may be facing a tough decision between the two lol

If you want to work in Boston, go to cheaper of BC/BU.

I want to work in Los Angeles after law school. I've asked all of my friends/family/etc. and it they say they've heard more about Boston College than Boston University.

Is the overall consensus that Boston University is more nationally recognized?

If you want to work in LA and the list of schools in your profile is comprehensive, you need to go back to the drawing board, cuz you're displaying some mighty poor judgement.

BU is currently ranked higher, yet BC was higher ranked and was more prestigious when the currently lawyers who are hiring were in school. I think either school will get you back to the West Coast if you do well. However, if you are really set on California, go to school there.

Thank for the fix. Definitely take the cheaper, but if all things are equal my vote is for BC: better placement in Boston and more collegial student body.
