Acceptances, Denials & Waitlists for December Applicants
Thought I'd start a thread for the kids who are submitting apps around now. I've submitted most of my apps this past week. Hope I'm not too late....

Me too! Looking at all the other threads makes me feel really late though...and I still have 2 more to go. I wonder how long it will be until we hear back.

Re: Acceptances, Denials & Waitlists for December Applicants
Good idea.. I submitted all my apps between 12/4 and 12/7. Just started getting Application Complete emails last week, and this week i have one status that says my app is under review and in committee...
We're going to be waiting a while longer than the early birds lol.

Re: Acceptances, Denials & Waitlists for December Applicants
I applied to all of my schools between 12/2 and 12/4, and I already received a waitlist decision from one (Washington and Lee) on 12/9. Whether that's some kind of omen about my chances at other schools, who knows :/

Re: Acceptances, Denials & Waitlists for December Applicants
applied DU on 12/7
accepted on 12/15
they have been the only ones to be so quick though. I was also auto admit for OU and Tulsa in November and they took a week. maybe if you are well above numbers they speed it up for you..

Some schools are going fast. I applied Penn State on 12/9, accepted 12/16. Almost all of my apps were 12/6 to 12/9, and almost all are either complete or under review. Winter break might be hard to wait through though!

Applied mid-late Nov, mostly complete between 12/07-12/14 here... with two late apps sent last week to UW and IU-B.
WUSTL complete 12/7, IN 12/16- if only they were all so quick
Good luck everyone! May January come quickly!

Re: Acceptances, Denials & Waitlists for December Applicants
I sent a majority of my apps early last week. Decided to save the ones that I would only be competitive at if my LSAT increased 2-3+ points in December. I've gone complete at some schools already, others have yet to even contact me.
Hopefullly by the time Dec scores come out I will be complete everywhere.

Most of mine were sent in 11/3-11/15, but I'm submitting my app to DU today. I hope they are quick... If I get their decision before CU they'll get a bump in my preference list

Re: Acceptances, Denials & Waitlists for December Applicants
I submitted most of my apps Oct-Nov but just sent in four more last week. I've only heard back from three schools, though, despite the fact that many of my apps have been complete for weeks! Granted, some of the stagnant apps are for "reach" schools, but others are for schools right in my numbers...
AUGH. I hate waiting.
Sorry. Just had to gripe for a minute or two.

Re: Acceptances, Denials & Waitlists for December Applicants
Sent my apps to Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, and NYU this week, Berkeley early December. Will probably withdraw and wait for next cycle if I don't hit the baseline LSAT I want (173/174, probably 174). If I do ... I'll blanket the T14.
Does anyone know if this severely affects chances at merit money at T14's? Based on LSN there are people who still receive substantial $$ despite being accepted in February or late January.

I'm in. Where I apply depends on my upcoming LSAT score. Top choices will be USC, BU, Fordham, GU, Pepperdine, Loyola, and if I score at the higher end of my PT's Uchicago but that will be a reach.

Most of my apps were November submissions, but I just sent out my NYU and Berkeley apps two days ago. Guess I'm a member of this thread.

Submitted everything but Yale 12/6, and in via PT at Duke on 12/16.
I went DL sent at NYU 12/22 so I am currently twitchily waiting for the mail...what a Christmas present that would be...
And no, Yale is not in yet.

Re: Acceptances, Denials & Waitlists for December Applicants
I sent a few around the end of November and the rest at the beginning of December. I might send out a few more in January but that depends on how pessimistic I get. I kind of regret not EDing to Columbia but hopefully I can manage as a RDer.
So far, Georgetown has accepted me.

Why do some schools take 2+ weeks to go complete and some schools can have your file done in 1-3 days? I applied to Wake and UCincy 10 days ago and they have yet to even send me an acknowledgement email. I know its the holidays but its still rather odd to see the disparity between how schools handle things.

I applied to McGeorge 12/15 and went complete on 12/15. I haven't heard anything from them since then, but it was very odd that it was processed so quickly.Sandro777 wrote:Why do some schools take 2+ weeks to go complete and some schools can have your file done in 1-3 days?
