Accepted under status checkers but no emails? Forum

Anyone else seeing that they are accepted/admitted under their various status checkers, but have not received emails or letters from various schools yet? Is this typical? Note: Email addresses for these 2 schools are accurate, and verified through receiving status updates, etc via email (i.e. your file is complete and all materials have been accepted).

If you haven't received an email, I wouldn't worry about it. I feel like schools don't have to send you an email in addition to your package.

If it's been more than a week and your admit package hasn't arrived, I would definitely call them.

Thanks for your response. I have another question maybe you can touch on, which I haven't been able to find much info on. Are the fees on the bottom left corner of your status checkers a good indication of things, or are some of these fees listed for anyone, regardless of decision (i.e. Seat Deposit/etc)?

Makes me nervous because some schools have these fee listed and others have nothing and others have summer fees and others have...you get the picture.

Bump-Has anyone been effected by the fee boxes on the lower left corner of the status checker? Are they only indicative of your acceptance/status, or do some schools list all possible fees for future tracking, etc?

All that matters is your status checker dates and statuses. If you havent received an email, just wait a bit. Check your spam folder. Things will get back to you in time.

Sorry. Yes, I'm going a bit crazy here. I have a status of accepted-congrats, under one of my status checkers. But since they offer different types of programs, I just was curious as to whether or not the fees in the bottom meant anything in particular. Meh...it says they sent me a decision letter yesterday, so I guess I'll know soon enough.

Never got an email from American until a day later than the status checker. (I'm tired and am pretty sure that my grammar is sub par here )

Well the school in question has posted on status checker that they sent me out a letter on 12/7. So hopefully I get that letter today or tomorrow. Apparently some schools don't email at all (i.e. status check and snail mail only) from what I've been told from others experiences too.
