I unfortunately missed the early commitment option, i applied about a week and a half ago

Dang, you might be our first TLS acceptance, congratulations! So no phone calls from Hastings, just e-mail... ok. I wonder when the RD decisions will be made. Next June, probably. LOL

Thank you! The phone call actually came 2-3 hours after the email. Nothing in the mail yet.

I got defered from ED yesturday. Do people get rejected from ED. I feel that with my numbers I am very lucky that I got defered.

I'm sorry. At least Hastings knows you have strong interest in their school and that will give you a boost in the second consideration of your application. I doubt Hastings rejects ED applicants unless their application is awful.
