I doubt there are many applicants on here, but my status checker changed to "file pending for decision" yesterday. Wondering if there are any other applicants on TLS?

I have a lot of top choices because I applied to a lot of reaches. I sent apps out to 23 schools overall, 19 of which I had fee waivers for amen haha. What do you think this status checker means?

From last years posts, looks like they release a large batch of decisions in early december. But hopefully it means we will be hearing soon!

Applied last week but 2nd LOR didn't come in until today, so I expect to go LSAC complete tomorrow. UK is a solid school if you want to work in KY, and if you do well the are several big firms in Louisville, Lexington, and Cincinnati to work at. I will definitely consider going there if they give me a good scholarship. Have any of you visited? What did you think?

Mine is also "file pending decision"... I feel like it is just UK's way of saying under review... I could probably walk down the street and ask them...

I visited the law school last month and left with a positive impression. While the law building is undoubtedly past it's prime, the faculty and the student who toured me around were very friendly. The admissions office told me to expect a decision by the end of this month.

The student guide also was very candid about the job prospects coming out of UK, saying that it was a difficult time to find employment in the state, even coming out of the best school in the state. I'm not sure what this means for the employment prospects of the most recent graduating class.

I wish the scholly info came with the acceptance! January is sooo far away and I wanted to visit.. but can't visit/afford to go without some scholly aid.

You could call/email the admissions office and request a travel stipend.

Hmm maybe. If you really want Kentucky and you don't get in... write a why Kentucky essay and ask to be reconsidered.

I was worried about the possibility of YP so I added a 3-4 sentence Why Kentucky to my PS. I guess we will see what the mail brings.

For anyone wondering when I applied:
Application Received Email 10/06/2010

I am not exactly sure what it means, guess I will await my letter. My worst thought is "Wait Listed".
