How do Admissions Offices Handle FT vs. PT Forum

I'm sure this varies by school but I was wondering how admissions offices handle the difference between FT and PT applications as they roll in?

Are they all reviewed the same way by the same people? Are there sort of two different camps that communicate between each other about certain applicants that may be better suited for the "other" program?

Any insight?
