I think everything just seems slower and drawn out when it personally affects you. Waiting sucks though.

At least it's November...some of the schools I applied to historically begin to issue decisions around this time (Iowa and Illinois, for example). But it's been a long wait, particularly because I finished most of my applications in early September.

Haha me too, I've had plenty of time to find the mistakes in my apps.

When do most people submit their apps. Dec? Jan?

I'm watching the days like a hawk but am not all that concerned. I imagine I'm going on a bunch of waitlists, and for a lot of schools I'm just not going to hear back from until Feb or so.

I've heard from 2 of 14.

Yeah I totally know what you mean about mistakes, and they make the wait just that much longer. :?

if you have your applications sent in before thanksgiving, you have submitted them early. I know on TLS many people submit them on the first possible day, but the average applicant wont.( A lot will submit them in late december, or january). So I would not expect anything until the new year ( or right before). On the bright side, at least its out of our hands now, so there is no point in worrying.

but waiting for a decision is going to be much more agonizing than waiting for the lsat score

Harvard and Stanford already gave me the nod, while Yale spat on me, so yeah, it's just you. I laugh with mirth and merriment...
