I also don't have a status checker. I applied at the beginning of October and Buffalo is the only school that hasn't even acknowledged they received my app. I did log in to one of their online chats and they said they had recruitment until the beginning of November, and they wouldn't start looking at files until after that.

im in state, and I submitted everything on the 5th. I still havent even heard anything from the school.

Has anyone who applied to UB recieved anything from the school? I havent even recieved an e-mail stating" we have your application, please be patient" or something like that from them. Am I the only one, or is this the norm?

Anyone else have an analagous situation: I was issued a merit-based fee waiver via email, but when I went to apply a few weeks later, the fee waiver code did not work. I sent an email requesting a new one, and was told I would be issued one. Fast forward a week later, no new fee-waiver code and I still haven't applied. What should I do? Would it be rude to continue trying to contact them RE the waiver?

I just called UB admissions. They apparently are having trouble with the online status checkers, and will be e-mailing them out later this week or next week. They told me that as long as everything was sent in by LSAC, and went complete on LSAC, then I should consider the application complete. She also told me that they are reviewing the applicaitons, even though no status checkers have been sent out yet.

+1 except that my date is for 12/9 which is weird because it is from the future and also my status was decision rendered 12/8 this morning.

I read somewhere on UB's admissions website that they dont give decisions over the phone or via email so it looks like snail. Do you have a date under the mailings column yet?

those that are still waiting-- they tell you that a decision has been renderded. if you are at their medians, you should get a nice package in the mail. best of luck!
