Post by bomedtheLSAT101 » Wed Jul 14, 2010 4:18 pm

Can everyone rank the new york law schools in terms of how successful are they in placing graduates in jobs after graduation?
thanks

Forget rankings. Rankings arent the end all be all.

If you want an answer to your question look through this: http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 1&t=108528

The problem with your question is that "jobs" is such a vague term. What kind of a job? What are the earnings from these jobs? How stable are they? Etc, etc.

It all depends on what you want to do.

Good luck!

Retake.

And yes, that is a serious response. Do not go to law school planning to transfer. And if you think transferring into Dozo, SJ, or Brooklyn is a good idea, it is not.

I know you are kidding but that just isn't kosher. "Make a better decision" would adequately suit your intended purpose.

It's still a better decision for NYC than Fordham. But so is most of the T14 . . .

I was tempted to say:

Columbia
Killself

But I wanted to be helpful.

SUNY at Cornell should be on the list.

It's too late? How old are you? Maybe if you're 73 you can't afford the extra year.

Even worse.

Seriously, I wasn't kidding when I said Columbia, NYU, Cornell, and Fordham. That's it.

And if your plan is to go to a 4th tier school and transfer up, that is a very very poor plan.

I would chime in and offer constructive advice, but I know I'd be risking carpal tunnel for nothing.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
