Transferrable Degrees?

Post by OmbreGracieuse » Sun Jul 11, 2010 10:36 am

I've got a really weird dilemma, and leads ultimately to this question:

Which is better:

A degree from a well known school like NYU, even though I plan to practice in AZ (does it transfer career-wise?)- which would leave my options open later...

Or a degree from ASU even though I know I will move to the east coast sometime later in life (would the work experience make up from the lack of the school's prestige and locality?)

Thanks for the advice!

NYU has national portability, so I would go there! ASU is a wonderful school too, though!

Is there any financial impetus to choose ASU over NYU? Is ASU offering you a metric asstonne of money to attend? If not, it seems that the obvious answer is NYU.
