Villanova or Temple?
So I had been pretty set on going to Temple for a while. I've sent a seat deposit, and I have in-state tuition plus a $5,000 renewable scholarship (making them roughly the same cost).
I got accepted to Villanova late in the game, and just received a $20,000 scholarship offer that is also renewable.
I already have an apartment leased downtown, but I'm sure I could commute up to Villanova either way.
What do you suggest?

These two are right at the top of my list... From what I know, they are pretty much the same in stature. What kind of law are you interested in?

voted for temple. I am biased however temple is less expensive for you to attend and I'd prefer to live in the city than out on the main line. I don't really think you can make a wrong choice. Its a matter of personal preference if the money differential is not a deciding factor.

i was looking at temple and nova for awhile. Temple has a much larger alumni network, and is second to none in getting jobs in Philly (considering penn mostly goes to NY). I know a bunch of lawyers in the city including Villanova alumns, and they would all say go to temple.

You're saying people who went to VLS would actually say go to Temple over Villanova?

Temple hands down. Similar job prospects = take the cheaper option. Also though it might not work, you should see if you can use the Nova scholly offer to leverage more money from Temple.

Temple! Definitely the right choice in this situation.

I think you really need to get a feel for the two schools.
Personally, I love Philly and don't know that I'd want to travel all the way to and from Nova everyday.
Nevertheless, while jobs prospects are pretty much the same, I think Villanova places more people in big law than Temple does.
