Waitlist -what to do if you're unreachable for 2 weeks? Forum

Hi all-

If you are on a few waitlists, what is the best way to word an email telling a school that you're going to be out of the country and you may not be checking email and your phone will be off? Is it "kosher" to tell them that they may contact your parents in your absence and if they end up giving you a seat but need a seat deposit asap, that your parents would be able to get that to them in your absence? any help is greatly appreciated!!
