So I've been waitlisted at UDM, and was wondering if anyone who has been in this situation with this school can tell me what their outcome was. I guess Im anxious to hear from UDM and want some re-assurance. Further, do u recommend that I take the June LSAT to try and get a higher score?

Wow, that is epic.

Okay, here's the thing. Before you get shat upon, people are going to tell you not to go to UDM paying full price. And they are right. It's not an awful school for Detroit (and Detroit alone), but it's not worth the 100k plus debt you'd rack up.

I hope you've already signed up for the June LSAT. If not, pay the late fee and retake it or shoot for September and re-apply next year. If you want to stay in Detroit and go to UDM, retake so you can get $$$ (still possible off the WL with a new LSAT perhaps). You'd be better off going to Wayne State with $$$ even then.

yeah, the tuition is definitely a killer! And I've already registered for the June LSAT, so ill just keep my fingers crossed.

yourstruly, is there any movement on the waitlist for you? How did the LSAT go for you? I am going to be 2L at UDM so if you have any Qs about it let me know, let's just say what they tell you on paper is quite embellished. The school has some redeeming qualities b/c do have a program for 3Ls to get ready into practice. I think strictly numbers speaking go to Wayne State if you can.
