That was worth every minute of every day I've ever wasted on TLS. Seriously, thank you.

I like how there are so many waitlists, you can't see the accepts.

What was pretty funny this cycle was about how open UVA was in their numbers-whoring. I remember one poster who was still in undergrad posting that UVA said they would revoke his acceptance (!!!) if his GPA fell below 3.85 (it was around 3.89 IIRC). Another poster who ED'd with a mid-160s LSAT and a very high GPA was told someting like [x LSAT score[ is the magic number for high-GPA, low LSAT ED candidates. He got waitlisted.

I think it is smart they waitlist all those people. As long as they are not penalized for doing it, why not. Michigan and Penn do the same thing. Also, the 40% in state thing holds them back so they gotta make up for it somehow. I got a Fee Waiver from Columbia by the way with a 166 and a 3.30. Keep hatin on UVA while they remain a top 10 school with softball, beer and warm weather; ill be there chillin there for the next three years.

Nobody's questioning UVA's quality as a law school. They're solidly hanging on to their spot in the first tier, and they've been in the top 40 since 2001.
