What is the latest that you were notified by a school? Forum

I still haven't heard from two of the schools I applied to. A friend told me he didn't get notified of his acceptance to one law school until July. What is the latest that you've heard about schools officially accepting or denying students?

some people get accepted a week into classes. so end of august?

I have a friend that was accepted into Duke in late August.

Its weird because schools often send people all these meetings and things to do prior to classes starting. Waiting so late puts the student at a disadvantage right away.

So far my latest is April. If you want to start counting people who got waitlisted then got in, theny yeah I've heard people get in to schools in Aug. I told the schools I am waitlisted at and seriously interested (read: willing to wait for) in attedning that I am willing to wait until July, after that, remove me from the list because I will have totally moved on to another school by then.
