LOCI
Is it beneficial to write a LOCI to a school you've yet to hear from, or does that hurt you?

Re: LOCI
I would advise against an LOCI if they have yet to give you a decision, unless you are held and they ask for one. A few schools took an exorbitant about of time with my file, and I just emailed them. Both schools got back to me with some sort of explanation, so I would go that route.
If you are waitlisted, then I would definitely write one, since schools are looking to fill their class at that point, and want to see verifiable interest.
Hope this helps!
