NYLS

Hey all,

A lot of my research suggests that NYLS has really been ramping up their faculty base and the new facilities are among the best in the country (not to mention in NYC). Yet I see a lot of negative feedback for the school. Can you all discuss pros and cons relative to similar schools (e.g. Hofstra, Rutgers, UMaine...)?

Cons: It costs 40k a year plus New York's incredibly high COL. You won't get a legal job anyone would want unless your graduate at the top of your class. You go to NYLS.

Pros: You'll never have to worry about the stress of Biglaw. You get to live in New York City for three years.
