GULC Decision Rendered 4/1 Forum

Has anyone gotten any emails since going DR on 4/1??? i got my hopes up yesterday because I didn't get an email and from previous posts it seems that GULC sends out emails the day after DR for rejections and WLs, whereas acceptances come thru snail mail.

Others can jump in, but I'm pretty sure those rejection and WL e-mails are on their way (my way, at least). I don't think they sent them on Fri because it was Good Friday. Of course this is all speculation.

Have you guys tried the admitted students site? Weren't the SPWL people who got DRs about that time able to log in? I do know that for some, it has taken 3-4 days to log in...

the main campus is closed. I'm not sure about gulc. on its academic calendar, it doesn't say when classes resume, but says the easter break was fri through sunday. You could call to confirm that theyre open.

just called, they're open. I asked when the notices were being sent. she said probably within the next 2 days. wtf?? do not tell me you've made a decision and keep me waiting for a week!!

I'm intrigued how they're sending out these e-mails. They must be literally retyping each rejection message for each reject.

i didn't ask specifically on email vs. snail mail. the lady that answered the phone was pretty miserable so i didn't take it further. she just said that notifications should be sent "within the next couple days. Maybe today or tomorrow". My guess is that it was a student answering the phones and she really doesn't know what she's talking about. Or at least i'm hoping that's the case.
