Princeton Law - what am I missing here? Forum

Why are there so many mentions of "Princeton Law"? Is this exercise comforting to the WL'd T4 applicants with 170+/3.5? I can't tell if the posters are in on the joke or if they are serious when they reply "sorry to hear that" re: "got my Princeton law ding today"

It just seems like there has been a lot of time and effort spent on an inside joke, unless
I'm completely missing something.

I guess this is an April Fool's Joke as well. There is no Princeton Law. They had a law school a loooong time ago, but no longer.

I was hoping for a different answer. I used to think UC Irvine was a fictitious place too, especially considering the fact that Google Maps shows a place called "Middle Earth Housing" on campus.

Oh well. I'm going with it.
