Your cycle seems to reflect your numbers and an average/below average softs/LORs/PS

You're bitching about $$ at W&L with a median LSAT and sub-median GPA? I hope you don't go there, because I might.

You are joking, right? Do you know how many people would kill for these options?

RC Fail. "2012, boasted a median LSAT score of 166 and a median GPA of 3.56."

Because last year probably would have meant money from Emory, Georgia and Iowa.

Worst cycle ever?

You were admitted to multiple respectable schools, some of them with scholarship.

What a joke.

Which makes this the worst cycle ever? Encyclopedia Brown has you beat by MILES.
Okay, maybe I should stop complaining.

RC Fail. "2012, boasted a median LSAT score of 166 and a median GPA of 3.56."
I apologize. You are absolutely correct. That extra .04 should have gotten you a full ride, a stipend, and a really great blowjob from their most attractive undergrad.

Nevertheless, the point is that you're bitching because your cycle went just about as one would have expected. Be grateful you have the opportunities you do; a lot of people would be happy to be in you place.

I agree. I'll have to contact the office of admissions re: my blowjob. FWIW it isn't really statistically relevant if my GPA is .04 above median or .5 above median. I'm not bitching about W&L either, just kind of surprised that I got waitlisted at schools like Georgia and William and Mary.

Being surprised you got waitlisted at two state schools in a cycle with a massive increase in applications and a lot of people looking for in-state tuition does not qualify as the "worst cycle ever."

That's ok. You simply made the classic mistake of looking for sympathy on TLS.

And I got it. A crying baby, a picture of Hobbes and some bitter 0L ranting. All together, this has made me feel much better (no sarcasm).

You got into W&L with money during a cycle when their app was free and everyone and their mother applied and got rejected from ONE school. Your cycle is above average.

My guess is that you came off as big of a dufus in your PS as you have in this thread.

You are dealing with the onslaught effectively. Well done.
Why thank you. I'm always down for a rousing rhetorical skirmish. It keeps me from doing real work. Fortunately, as a liberal arts major, there won't be much of that until law school.

You are correct. Is the lady in your 'tar available? If so, does she go to Washington and Lee?

I believe she is available for the right price. However, I've been to W&L...there isn't much there, and certainly not her.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
