It's interesting that a lot of the Harvard rejects ended up attending Columbia...this makes me feel better about my impending HLS WL/rejection because this will probably be my path, too.

lol, the entire article seems to go like this:

1. Get rejected from Harvard
2. Do something associated with Columbia
3. ????
4. Profit!!!

Methinks somebody at Columbia was pushing for this .
