Still haven't heard from...

Post by Snazzygirl » Tue Mar 23, 2010 1:12 pm

How many people out there have not yet received a decision from the following schools? I'm trying to gauge what is "normal" this cycle.

University of Connecticut (File Complete: Dec. 10)
Santa Clara University (deferred to regular admission from ED on 1/5)
University of San Diego (F/C: Jan. 26)
CA-Davis: (F/C: Jan 26)

By the end of Feb/beginning of March I was anxious about not hearing from them...last week I was annoyed...now I'm just pissed. Deposit deadlines and ASDs are approaching...

Still waiting on UF, Tulane, Fordham, BU, USC, . Considering my numbers could be considered autoreject at the latter 3 (at least the latter 2), I am not sure how to take this. Good Sign? or delayed anguish?

ASU (kinda) - I did an EA app early in the cycle and was deferred to the regular admissions
Arizona - I've been "in committee" since January
Santa Clara - almost exactly the same as Arizona

Sorry - that last post response was referring to UWash.

Also - without asking you all to post your lsat/gpa, what are you numbers like? Mine are split (great gpa, lots of softs, crappy crappy lsat).

I'm just wondering if that's the reason behind the hold ups.

There has been 150% increase in total law school applicants for Fall 2010 according to the Wall Street Journal.

Thanks to the economy, and terrible work-force opportunities, everyone wants to be a lawyer these days.

Aw I'm sorry. For Washington?? I am not really holding my breath on that one, but it would be nice. I am in Southern CA. Withdrew from my safeties. If none of these work out I will be taking the LSAT again. I REALLY don't want to go that route though.
