Pitt vs. Penn State- Tell me what you think
With scholarships, they're about the same cost. In-state. Looking for PI work, government etc. What do you think?

Well the curve at Pitt is around a 3.0, so it's about the same as the "top half" requirement at PSU.
Public interest is pretty big here at Pitt. However, if you want government, (especially state gov't) Penn State's Carlisle campus will put you in close proximity to Harrisburg.
On the other hand, if you like federal government, Pitt has huge ties to DC these days.
Aside from that, you'll probably get a fairly comparable education at both schools. Where do you want to live for 3 years? In a city or a smaller town?
