I've been in Utah the last 5-6 years. I'd like the head down but the plane ticket and getting work off make it a bit cost prohibitive. Let me know how it goes though.

Still in review...hoping to join the party later this week according to the admissions department.
However, I have a pretty good reason to believe I'm getting WL'd

After being "In Review" for over a month..... I tend to get a bit anxious. Just tell me it's in a pile with all the others waiting its turn instead of giving me the line o' crap.MixedGirl2009 wrote:wtf?? lol!Mr. Matlock wrote:NOW YOU WAIT HERE JUST A G'DAMNED MINUTE!!!!!onthecusp wrote:Still in review...hoping to join the party later this week according to the admissions department.

Re: Chapman 2013
My fault, I should have been more clear. I've been in review since January so I called to make sure they didn't forget about me. They just told me to expect a decision by the end of the week, and call if I don't hear back from them. They didn't tell me to "expect" to join the party.Mr. Matlock wrote:NOW YOU WAIT HERE JUST A G'DAMNED MINUTE!!!!!onthecusp wrote:Still in review...hoping to join the party later this week according to the admissions department.

Accepted today 4/9 via status checker. My application went complete on 3/2. Hopefully one of those big fat scholarship offers will follow in the mail! Good luck.

Re: Chapman 2013
Sent in seat deposit last week, admitted students night on the 9th was nice. Roughly 75 people and catered. There were admissions/financial aid personnel to answer questions. I am excited but counting on Chapman actually rising above the top 100 like rumors suggest. Anyone have any recent information since the Bar Passage was a very respectable 84% recently?

Just received the double good news today!
1) Chapman breaks into top 100 at #93 (tied with Santa Clara and beating out USF)
2) Just received my acceptance package from Chapman with a 100% full tuition scholarship renewable for three years with 3.0 gpa or higher!
Good luck to everyone else

I am a current 1L at Chapman. Very excited about the new rankings. It is not surprising to those of us at Chapman. It is a great law school. Let me know if anyone has any questions as you get closer to deciding or attending. Take care.

I saw that, which makes me even happier that I immediately turned USF after they didn't offer me any money yet chapman offered a full ride...Santa Clara was a bit harder to give up with $ yet now i don't feel too bad.km23 wrote:MixedGirl2009 wrote:Perfect timing!! Re: Chapman 2013
Congrats on the acceptance and scholarship to Chapman. I was really disappointed when USF didn't offer me any scholarship either. I guess this is the reason why Chapman will continue to surpass them in the rankings - they flat out outspend their competition. You won't regret your decision to attend Chapman. I did my undergrad their and the school, faculty, and students are really great. They make you feel like you are part of something special!MixedGirl2009 wrote:I saw that, which makes me even happier that I immediately turned USF after they didn't offer me any money yet chapman offered a full ride...Santa Clara was a bit harder to give up with $ yet now i don't feel too bad.km23 wrote:MixedGirl2009 wrote:Perfect timing!! Re: Chapman 2013
I put down my deposit a few weeks ago and now that I have heard back from everywhere I will officially be attending Chapman and couldn't be more excited, especially with the new rankings.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
