Hello everyone,
so i figured it was weird not to receive a status checker from Stanford (app. submitted 1/2) and so checked with them - to find out they still didn't receive the form.
I called my undergraduate school (b/c they said they sent it on 1/27) just to hear without any "sorries" and that they simply "will send it this afternoon".
I know this is extremely late in the cycle to go complete at Stanford, what do you guys think?
I did receive the confirmation letter from Stanford that they received all other components in January.
Will this severely affect my chances....?

It depends how impressed they are with the rest of your application. If you did a careful job on it, probably not; if it confirms an impression of carelessness or disinterest perceptible from other parts of the application, maybe.eiluj39 wrote:Hello everyone,

Well, it's a form. And if I remember correctly, you have to sign/date it. Which means that Stanford will probably see that you had submitted it and it was the fault of the school. I had some errors like that for other schools (some don't have a form, and just require a letter - my request got bounced between different offices before they got it right).CardinalRules wrote:It depends how impressed they are with the rest of your application. Just because Stanford saw that the UG messed up, doesn't mean it won't impact your chances. True, it is a numbers game but unless you are extremely confident that your numbers are auto admit into stanford (3.9+, 170+) then you're better off applying next year.
Sorry your UG is incompetent, but you should have been on top of them as well. It's your life, don't take any chances with it.
