I'm interested to see if Nebraska gets back in the top100 and how UNLV has been affected by its financial troubles. I also want to see if the UC schools have been affected at all by the chaos in the state of California.

They are conveniently released after the majority of seat deposits are due.

+1 to the above.... if you are afraid to put a seat deposit because your school falls two rankings I bet you'll really flip if it falls 4 and you're a 2L

Most of mine are 4/1.Sauer Grapes wrote:I thought most seat deposits were 4/15 or 4/30?
Anyone think there will be notable changes? I'm pretty sure GW will make its way back into the low 20s, but I doubt anything else will happen.

It'll be interesting to see the employed at graduation vs 9 month employment rates as well as the income ranges and if those shift any rankings.missvik218 wrote:Most of mine are 4/1.Sauer Grapes wrote:I thought most seat deposits were 4/15 or 4/30?

I agree. V also breaks the three way tie with d and nMDPSteve wrote:It'll be interesting to see the employed at graduation vs 9 month employment rates as well as the income ranges and if those shift any rankings.missvik218 wrote:Most of mine are 4/1.Sauer Grapes wrote:I thought most seat deposits were 4/15 or 4/30?

I am hoping the rankings come out before deposits. Mostly, I want to make sure that I don't go to a school that drops into the third tier the year I start. That's all the shifting I'm worried about.JRMjr wrote:+1 to the above.... if you are afraid to put a seat deposit because your school falls two rankings I bet you'll really flip if it falls 4 and you're a 2L

Although I'd be super stoked if one of my T2 choices slipped into T1 territory.

abovethelaw will probably snag a leaked version a few days before the magazine comes out in stands... like they do every year.

You're not taking into account NYU's downward trend. I'd put them as 6 and Chicago at 5.yourdadcalled wrote:1. Yale

Re: The new U.S. News rankings????
I think we'll see a mix through of the upper 30s and lower 20s. Emory, Indiana, and Illinois may rotate to the bottom, allowing GWU to move up big, with some minor movements from the lower 20s.
Also, UCI will be ranked #4 (would have been ranked #2, but they aren't accredited). (Note that this is a joke.)
