App to Decision --> Does time generally mean consideration?

Do dings generally come quicker than admits? I know this is horribly generalized, but is it safe to assume that the longer a decision takes, the more consideration your app may be receiving?

No, not necessarily. I think the lower your numbers are for the school, the longer it just sits in a stack of similar lower numbers because of school indexing formulas. These apps are usually reviewed last. Applicants with numbers the school actually wants to admit will usually go to decision within a week to a month. So it really depends.
