It has said "No decision at this time" for a VERY long time now. I submitted my app in October. I got the "hold" notification via snail mail. Not sure what to think...or what my chances are.

Wouldn't ya know it? I checked the status checker on Friday, there was nothing. So I withdrew my application. I got the acceptance in the mail today. I was trying to be a good sport because I know the schools get dinged by USNWR for the % of students who are offered admission and reject them. Oh well, They didn't even offer me a scholarship.

They were friendly with me every time I've called. And I've called repeatedly because, via online status checker, I was admitted in early February, but almost two months later have yet to receive a scrap of actual mail-- like the acceptance letter-- from GA State.

Anyone get the invitation to attend the reception at Sutherland for Georgia State law? Anyone planning on going?

I would go, but it's on a Tuesday, which is almost impossible to make when you have a job and don't live in Atlanta. Has anyone looked into where to live in Atlanta? I've heard from several people that anywhere close to a MARTA station is fine, but I am not really sure how far out is too far out. Anybody that went to school here have any input?

It's really a personal decision. Some people don't like Marta and would rather drive, regardless of traffic. Others are fine with Marta, but don't like driving so they want to be able to walk to a station. It really depends on whether or not you really like living in a certain area and your transportation preferences.

Almost died! I got the thinnest envelope from GSU yesterday in my mailbox and I immediately thought "ding." Luckily, it was just talking about my financial aid and advised me where I could find my summary, it was followed by ANOTHER thin letter from GSU which I was sure was going to be an epic fail letter and it just stated that it required me to be admitted into the school for me to be able to use my financial aid next year...duh

I NEED them to let me know what's going on! Is it just me or are all the state schools really slow with admissions?

I got the same letters. One of them stated that I have "missing document" of "must be accepted for admission", and I need to "submit the document to their office". I do wish I had it already.

It seems to me that other schools don't bother to send out letters asking additional documents for financial aid application before admission decisions being made. Did those of you who got admitted receive such letters before receiving your admissions?

I got the same letters, but one said I couldn't get the other without sending in more information. I don't think I was missing anything, so I still don't know what it was all about.

Is anybody else in the accepted, sending in seat deposit, but still hoping to get off the waitlist somewhere else boat? I want to go ahead and start planning for a move, but this waiting until the last minute to hear from another school is messing with my chi. The higher law schools do it to get a kick I think. I am not excited about the prospect of moving and getting settled in to hear August 1st that I got into the number 1, but thems the ropes I guess.

Sorry, yeah I got accepted in early Feb., got the loan information last week, and I still can't figure out why I got the two letters at the same time, both dated with different dates. But I guess if they have a problem when they get the deposit they will let us know. When is everyone planning on making the move to Atlanta?

I am in the same boat. I already live in Atlanta so I will be riding the waitlist at my # 1 until the last possible minute. I am starting to get excited about the thought of GSU though.

In last Wednesday after being held a few weeks earlier. Does anyone know when they send out aid information? I'm OOS, so I am really hoping for an in-state waiver (161/3.76UG/4.0Grad). Does anyone know how generous they are with tuition waivers or other scholarships?

Did anyone attend the Sutherland reception last night? How did it go? I ended up having to work late and couldn't make it.
