Acceptance notifications
Which schools (T-30) notify admitted students by phone only? How about by both phone and email?
Edit: I have read through most of the threads I am interested in but I see conflicting information. So, I would just like to know from people who have been admitted how they have been notified.

You would have to look at the thread of each school you are interested in. There is no one that is going to do the work of compiling each one of these when you are unwilling to do the work for yourself.gundamz wrote:Which schools (T-30) notify admitted students by phone only? That being said,
Chicago notifies by phone then email.
Cornell for me was by phone, then email.
Illinois by email.
UVA by phone.
etc.

I don't know if BU contacts exclusively by phone, but from what I gleaned on the BU thread it seems that the majority of people found out via phone call.

Yes; Berkeley does all communication by email to be green. They will eventually send you an admission packet by snail mail, but that usually arrives two weeks or so after the email.daviddel03 wrote:is berkeley only by email?

I heard that Dean Tom calls some admitted students. Does he call all admitted students or only a select few?BenJ wrote:Yes; Berkeley does all communication by email to be green. So does that mean if you get mail from Yale, Harvard, or Stanford, it's definitely bad news?BenJ wrote:The ones I know off the top of my head:
