Willamette 2010
Has anyone heard from Willamette? I went complete 1/13 and haven't heard anything. I hate that neither they or Oregon have status checkers!

I was waitlisted also, sucks I would have seriously considered going but they don't go to their waitlist until April. Unfortunately I don't have enough money to deposit somewhere and wait and see about Willamette so its out. Oh well. Good luck to everyone else.

Thanks! I'm also waiting on U of O, Lewis, and Seattle too! I'm not sure about Willamette and PNW because I want to return to California to work post law school...

Got accepted a couple days ago with a $14,000 scholarship.
Really a safety net school for me. Most likely won't attend.

Re: Willamette 2010
The Dean of Admissions emailed me a couple weeks ago commenting about my personal statement in a really heartfelt way. All of this law school applying stuff is nerve wracking, and his kind words were very calming. That said, I haven't heard anything from them since. Do they email, or use snail mail?

Re: Willamette 2010
Pretty sure they just use snail mail. I'm just anxious because I have strong numbers for them and I've already been accepted at a couple of better schools. I love Oregon though so I'd really like to hear back!

Yeah it is with the money offer, I'm still hoping for U.Oregon or Seattle U though. I'm going to visit soon. My stats were 3.12/156, went complete mid January.

Re: Willamette 2010
Complete on 2/24. Wish I would have had my app together earlier, but whatever.
I went to their open house and enjoyed the campus. It reminded me of Whitman with the stream running through it.
Also, coming from Seattle I almost threw up when a current Willamette student said she had a 2 bed/2 bath apartment for $500/month.
Congrats to everyone who got in. Hopefully I'll join your ranks in the next month or so.

Got the ding letter today. Not really surprising, saw a lot of better numbers being wait-listed on LSN but hurts nonetheless.

Re: Willamette 2010
I got waitlisted today. They sent a form to fill out to indicate whether I'm still interested in remaining on the waitlist. I wonder if this is an effort to figure out who is serious about Willamette b/c so many apply there as a safety. I went to their open house, and would strongly consider matriculating. My random sleeper school Loyola Chicago is suddenly looking like more of a possibility as I'm stuck waiting at Lewis and Clark, and Willamette. I still haven't heard anything from Seattle or Gonzaga.

I got watilisted, too. I was pretty stunned. I'm thinking that they are trying to weed out the people who applied just because its free online from those who are actually interested.echelon wrote:I got waitlisted today.
