My rejection was sent by mail. I don't know how waitlist notification works.

No worries. As much as I love Texas (a few visits), I never would've gotten used to the weather. Good luck to you!hjjs22 wrote:Thanks for the info, sorry that you know the answer though.

Where are you from? 10 out of 10 people agree that the weather in Austin can't be beat!

As a central Texas native, I disagree with that statement. I don't know who thinks weeks of 100-degree heat from May to September can't be beat, but they're out of their minds..

Ha that is a slight exaggeration to say it's 100 degrees from May to September!cendien wrote:As a central Texas native, I disagree with that statement. I don't know who thinks weeks of 100-degree heat from May to September can't be beat, but they're out of their minds..

The first link is especially helpful. For 67 out of 76 straight days in the months of June, July, and August of this year the temperature was 100 degrees or higher. The second shows a nice early heat wave early in 2008. The third is just funny.
The best thing about going to UT Law though is the ability to leave during the summer to avoid the heat.
