A previous post has him in at Columbia, so I'm guessing rather good...

@ Zarathustra: Will you be taking that Columbia acceptance and withdrawing from Boalt?

My stats are around the median, nothing special. I'll be equally happy attending either Columbia or Boalt; however, the ultimate decision will depend on $$$$. I have always wanted to go to Berkeley, though. So Columbia has to make a pretty good offer before I give up Boalt. Also, who wants to be in New York when they can be in Cali?

Eh I've felt like that ever since I applied.

I've felt like that even before I applied since everyone I know has told me not to even bothering applying because I'm going to be rejected.

Yesterday someone told me they would slit their wrists if I got in. Sooo not encouraging at all...

I just want it over with...all of this waiting is killing me.

Hellokitty: that is horrible. Someone actually told you that? On TLS or in real life? I agree with wanting it to be over... or at least a tweet with more information would be nice.

Did you think your PS was exceptional or that you have amazing softs?

Honestly, that is horses%$*. If you get in (and I really hope you do), it's because they read your file and thought you were a great fit. I hate when people piss on other people's worth.

Its good to hear that they have started to send out decisions. Now Im going to be real nervous tommorow and thursday. I will be very pissed if I dont get in. Ive already got into schools that index me lower than Boalt (according to LSP). If I get the ding I will be forced to accept that my softs are weaker than I thought. You will get an email this week saying yay or nay if you're Faculty Review sometime before Friday.

last FR, someone heard via phonecall on wednesday and the big wave happened on thursday.

opposing my theory is the fact Berk hasn't posted anything on the admissions twitter whereas last time they did the day before.

That's just freakin hateful. Here's the deal: I really hope you get into Berkeley, but if you don't it won't be the end of the world. You will cry to the point of exhaustion and wonder if this whole law school thing was a good idea. You will bust out the streamers and the cake and throw yourself the most raging pity party ever! In the middle of crying and feeling like the world hates you, you will remember who you are. You will remember that you are strong, capable, and deserving. You will look over all the times you have overcome obstacles that you thought were insurmountable (getting outta bed when you found out your LSAT score, amongst others) and you will do WHATEVER it takes to make this happen for you.

FYI, I'm writing from experience...This is stressful, but try and see things with the right perspective

- My status checker hasn't updated yet.
- For Berkeley, I'd be considered a splitter.
- I was not a part of FR1, only FR2.
