So in the admission packet we got they said they will reserve a room for you at no charge. I take it they mean they will set you up in a hotel, and not charge you a 'set up' fee, and it's not them paying for the hotel room, right?

I asked them about this awhile ago and the admissions office said the room is completely free. It just costs you money to get there. Kind of bummed they didn't comp anything else since a plane ticket is way out of my budget.

What were your numbers? My 129 isn't exactly above their medians, but I should've heard back already if you got a decision that quickly.

Accepted 1-28-10 with $48,000 scholarship. I withdrew last week because I plan to stay closer to home. More scholarship back in the pool for you all to negotiate!

Hey everyone, I just withdrew via email, so they should be redistributing my scholarship love to some of you waiting. Good luck, and congrats to all you who were accepted!

I am "In Review" as of today. I spoke to someone in admissions a couple weeks back and they said they were turning applications around in 10 days. Brisk.

Rejected with 154/3.47. This was the biggest surprise of my cycle. I thought I'd get in.

akarmenia1 and Chroanizz - do you know when your status changed to "In Review"? Just wondering about how long it took before they made a decision... Thanks!

I went to "Decision Made" on 3/8. Does anyone remember how long it took to get a letter after this happened? I'm on the east coast.

I'm in Norcal and it took about 6 business days for the letter to get to me after my status changed to "Decision Made". Gonzaga seemed to hav sent out that batch of letters a few days after the status changed since it took someone who lived in Spokane a 3 days to get it or something. It may be different in your case, give them a call and maybe they'll tell you when the batch of letters was sent.
Edit: ...and goodluck!

I'm having a hard time understaning how people who have barely better scores than me are getting in with scholarships and I got rejected altogether.

When things like that happen, I think first about the application as a whole and how you presented yourself. I know that my LSAT is low, but I feel that the other parts of my application make up for it and I put a lot of time and care into the applications. I believe that adcomms can absolutely get a sense of who you are as a person from your apps. I also disagree with people that say that admissions is solely a numbers game, they know what they are doing and they know what they are looking for and that is more than just numbers.

Yes, you're probably right. I put a lot of time and energy into my application and have some good softs, so I would hope that it is not the case. Perhaps I am just not as awesome as I thought I was. Ego check.

Hey all. Just got accepted yesterday and I'm super excited. For anyone who is seriously planning on attending:
1) Are you planning on attending the event on the 27th?
2) I'm WAY out of state so I'm wondering, has anyone figured out any sort of living situation for the school year?
Anyways, I have a feeling I will be in Spokane in August and I hope to hear from you guys and perhaps even see you soon.
