Drowning Sorrows by Medicating with Admitted Student Sites
Hey All,
So after a one-two punch of dings from Gtown and Berkeley yesterday and today, I found myself going onto the admitted students sites for other schools I was accepted at thinking 'see! someone wants me'.
Anyone else find themselves doing this to take away the sting of a ding if you will.

Haha if you mean mine, then I should explain. This year is the 1300th year aniversary for Nara, Japan (where I am working) and they had a contest to choose the mascot (it was a huge deal) and these were the two finalists. I thought they were pretty typical of the randomness I find here every day and so I thought why not share them with the TLS community. Google sento-kun for more info.eaters333 wrote:You're avatar scares me

What are you doing in Nara?
I had a chance to go there a couple years ago. Toudaiji was amazing.

true that. except 1.) i actually have negative money right now, and 2.) I don't really want to go anywhere but the five I applied to.
Seriously, as an extremely cheap person, spending $400 on applications was enough of a blow!
I'm still waiting on.....everywhere.

I'm not really saying you should have applied to more, I'm just trying to say that you would have had decisions by now if you had more apps.goblue1646 wrote:true that. except 1.) i actually have negative money right now, and 2.) I don't really want to go anywhere but the five I applied to.
