Final Transcripts

Post by sternc » Wed Jan 27, 2010 12:08 am

What is the deal with final transcripts/grades? I assume you have to send them in, but to who? LSAC, the school? Under what circumstances would a t14 accept someone and then revoke the acceptance after seeing their last semester grades/transcripts?

You need to send the final transcript directly to the school. Either the acceptance information will tell you how to send it and the deadline for submission, or the school will contact you after you commit to matriculating there. The likelihood of a revoked acceptance is so slim as to be almost non-existent. HLS says that you're fine unless you "completely bomb" your last semester. The main purpose of the final transcript is to certify that you actually did receive a degree.
