I loaded up on the fillet medallions. I'm picky. The food at the visiting day was off the hook though.

The food at both events was pretty awesome.

I know from the other thread me and jessicatiger were wondering about the scholarship dinner planned for the 19th. It says invite only. Did anyone get an invite yet?

I'm staying at the Hilton near LSU campus. I'm hoping to be able to talk a woman or 5 back to my room. If that doesn't work I'll likely end up taking the shuttle around and hitting up some bars/clubs. Do you have any suggestions?
Reception was alright. Seemed pretty laid back. Think I'll be going after this cute little red head girl tomorrow on the tour. Got to finish reading up the case homework they sent me.
The student day was pretty good I thought. Beautiful campus, honest student body and instructors I talked to. The other admitted students were generally friendly and interested in the school. Saw ALOT of students with their parents, especially girls. Tried spitting some game at this cute red headed girl, no success! Did get her email, will try to email her in a few days. She seemed cool, certainly a type A personality. If we both end up at LSU I will see about hooking up with her.
Hi, Dark Night. It may come as quite a shock to you, but the internet, especially when you give such telling descriptions, is not totally anonymous. This note is to formally inform you that as of now, your chances with me are in the negative numbers, though they were relatively dismal to begin with. I wish you luck in your future endevours, but if you are looking for a higher success rate among LSU's female law students, I suggest you keep your intentions off of a thread that is dedicated to future/current law students at LSU.

PS- Please subtract me from the 1-5 women you were considering bringing to your room. Thank you.
Hahahaha... so funny. I met most of the people I've been talking to in this thread at the cocktail reception, but I doubt this dark knight character revealed his identity to anyone.
Ha ha I also met one or two ppl on here, but feel the same about dark knight not revealing his identity. We even talked about which other ppl on the tread were not revealing there true identity, just out of curiosity you my have met me I'm Josh.

I think I'm about to die laughing. For the sake of the lounge's curiosity, is Darknightbegins really a hunk of a man at 5'10 200 lbs with 10% body fat, as he claims he is?

Haha JessicaTiger you are awesome!
I'm Eva. I was at the ASD but I don't think I met any of the people on here (or hey, maybe I did!)
Has everyone figured out what they're doing for housing yet? I'm still not quite sure, and it's definitely not made easier by the fact that I have to find a place that will accept both me and my dog!

P.S. JessicaTiger, my girlfriend and I just laughed at your little "ordeal". She loved your response and hopes to meet you in the fall.....
I came from Jacksonville also. The drive was hell and if you saw a broken down towncar off I-10 East by Tallahassee that was me! Nothings better than your tire blowing up at 85 MPH and spinning into a ditch! But on a side note ASD was very nice even though Fred's got the best of me Friday night.

Hey guys,
I've been reading a bunch of posts concerning living arrangements. I live at Place du Plantier, which is on Lee Drive about 5 minutes from campus. It's in a great location (near the bank/grocery/wal-mart/campus etc), and they are pet friendly. As an LSU UG, I lived in two other apartment complexes near campus, and PDP, so far, has been the best experience. After messaging another TLS-poster about living arrangements, I called the front office to ask them if we could give any kind of deals to incoming law students. They said that right now if you sign-up your first months rent is free. They also told me that they would be willing to waive the deposit and sign-up fees for any incoming law students. I don't know all of the rates, but for a 1BR/1BA, they told me that it would be no more than $630 per month (i.e. that's probably negotiable). I live in a 1BR/1BA, and it's large for 1 person. I also have a very large, front patio. Anyway, if you want more info., PM me. You can also call the front office at 225-766-7380. Ask for A'Ron, and make sure that you tell him you're an incoming law student. Also, say that Chris told you to call because I'll get credits toward my rent

Chris

I'd also like to add that this thread has been damn good over the past few months. The 2012 class thread was three pages. We've hit 20. BOOM.

Thanks Chris, saw the place on my way out thought it looked nice, but my only concern was the commute.

Got the email for the scholarship dinner. It looks like it will be held in the Lawton Room at Tiger Stadium. Sadly, I won't be able to make it.

I'm just a casual TLS-er and usually just come to see if any of the newest posts catch my eye, then I move along.
Now, that being said, I have been religiously checking this thread about every 20 minutes today to see if darknightbegins responds to JessicaTiger.
BTW, Jessica, I did find a thread where DNB discusses shaving his butt - so, you might want to re-think your rejection. I mean, if that doesn't spell winner, I don't know what does.

Yeah, if you look at his profile...he hasn't logged on since she posted the burn of all burns. If he actually responds this could get funny. $5 says he doesn't respond though.

It's supposed to be for scholarship recipients (so I was told). Call and up and see if you got anything!

LOL for the most part, Reggie's holds the freshmen, but the girls only need to be 19 to get into Fred's (guys need to be 20, I think).
