I'm watching this and two other Georgia threads here on TLS and have not seen anyone make the transition yet. I'll post here if it comes up in one of those threads.

Has anyone's status changed? There is a person on LSN that was "held for further review" in December and rejected at the end of Feb.

Just joined the held for further review lot yesterday. Application went complete 2/15. What an uncertain fate we all hold. Good Luck!

Also received the waitlist email today. Pretty sure I will be withdrawing my application. It's unfortunate as I visited Athens and really enjoyed it, but I've been accepted to a higher ranked school that I will now be attending. Good luck to the rest of you waiting to hear from UGA.

Also officially waitlisted.

Someone in another thread mentioned that 2 of 45 on LSN last year were accepted off of the waitlist. Hard to know how accurate that is though. I'm guessing not accurate at all, but hey, just passing it along.

Looking at LSN, which I know isn't completely representative, I am one of the last yellow dots before a sea of green.

It makes me wonder if I would be in a whole different world if my letter of the day was "B" instead of "C" ...

I'm the yellow dot at 162/3.8 - a whole string of fellow yellows below me but all that green to the right. It is like you are close, but not close enough!

I think when UGA fills up on its GPA love you will be the first one in!

Just remembered this...I feel like someone in this thread (or maybe the other UGA thread) said something to the effect of..."wouldn't it be awful if we've been held this whole time just to get waitlisted?". Thanks, UGA

I'm sure people that were waitlisted had to wait until June or later. As it was explained to me, this was different from an official waitlist, and the primary difference was we would receive a decision by April 1st.

What if the decision everyone receives on April 1st is a Waitlist. How infuriating would that be?

I know of one person who was admitted from the "held for further review status" but I got the WL email today too
