Yea, I'm in the middle of getting all that information together right now.

Also, has anyone gotten their acceptance packet yet?

I live in Chicago and I got my packet today. Doesn't contain any scholarship information. Just the admitted student's handbook and "The Glass Menagerie" which is basically a book with pictures/bios of professors and current students.

+2 to all of that.

It is also strange considering W-2s and financial info are just now being released, but I will do my best to get them what they want. I cannot find it right now, but I read on their website that the form is due Feb 1 and that after that funds will be allotted on the basis of what they have left. Seems like the deadline is not hard and fast, and just puts you in the best position.

And this thread needs to liven up. I have no packet yet but am expecting it Monday.

To the bit about a decent picture--
I found a really nice one in the admitted students handbook pdf that is on their website. The picture is from the front of the schools at night and shows the building and its lights in the reflecting pool It is split into two so I just used paint to put them together. It makes a nice desktop.

Anyone else feel a little creepy looking through "The Glass Menagerie?"

I might just be inherently creepy, so that's a possible explanation.

I just read through the whole handbook and now I'm really excited to visit Chicago. Except ASW coincides with Columbia's. :( I enjoyed browsing through the Glass Menagerie. It helped me get a sense of the community there.

I'm at Columbia Tuesday night - Thursday evening, then taking the 7:55p flight from LaGuardia to Chicago. Totally doable (and it'd be good to have someone to split a cab with, if you do both).

@UChicagoLawApps:
The deadline for the Need Access form is February 1. You must complete this form for need-based scholarship consideration.

Yikes, I guess I better get on this.

I'm thinking of going to Chicago's ASW instead of Berkeley's. I'll actually have buy a plane ticket for this one, but I want to go to Chicago much more than Berkeley. But maybe Penn more than Chicago? I'm so torn.

I will be away from the computer between 3-4 CST and will miss the chat with the Financial Aid Director. Would anyone be kind enough to post a summary of key points after the chat?
