university of memphis? Forum

has anybody heard anything from memphis yet? I sent my application in early november and I got an e-mail saying that it had been received. Since then though, I haven't heard a peep out of them. No notification of completion, no status checker, no seasons greetings, nothing. Anybody else?

It probably isn't complete? Not being an ass, but there could be something you forgot - I forgot a certification letter for a week...

I haven't heard anything either. I'm pretty sure they take awhile for decisions. Looking on LSN for last year, it seemed like people started hearing back in mid-January.

ok I just looked back through some of my e-mails and I realized they did send me an e-mail telling me that my file is complete. I guess thats better

ok, this is pretty weird. Its almost february and so far no one has gotten any decisions yet?? according to lsn there haven't been any acceptances, waitlists, or rejections. are there any other schools that take this long?

I got an acceptance letter last Thursday. I had a 3.73/160 in-state.

Just talked to the admissions lady, she said there are only about 10 scholarships that will be awarded this year and that the financial aid packages won't be out quickly since she is having to do them by herself. Just letting you all know! She was very nice.

I dunno. Alumni aren't getting jobs and giving back? Its still cheap for me since it's in state, but I likely won't attend
